How the buttons work
For games that you install and play on your Windows 10 device, the buttons on the Xbox One and Xbox 360 controllers work the same. The only difference is that the Xbox button on the Xbox One controller and the Xbox Guide button on the Xbox 360 controller will open the Game bar when pressed during PC gameplay.

How to connect an Xbox One Wireless Controller to a PC
The Xbox One Wireless Controller can be used to play Xbox games on your PC when connected via micro-USB cable.
To use an Xbox One Wireless Controller with your PC, you’ll need to make sure you have the current PC drivers. /bartpe-windows-7-iso-free-download.html.
- For Windows 10, the most current drivers are pre-installed with the operating system.
- For Windows 8.1 and Windows 7, you’ll need to download and install one of the following driver packages:
- PC drivers for Xbox One Controller (x86)

Once the drivers are installed, connect the controller to a USB port on your PC using a standard micro-USB cable.

- If the controller doesn’t respond, try a different micro-USB cable.
