  3. Ps1 Games Eboot
  4. Ps1 Games Eboot

Well, enough chitchat and let start.
First I wanna explain for who still don’t know what is the Psone Loader, through Tekken 2 and Moto X exploit we can run ps1 games with perfect sound, at the moment, a 99% compatibility due to my tests.

The only pain is having to close the ps1 exploit and retrigger it pay a different PS1 game. But hey! I’m here to help you avoid this! With making your know ps1 multiboot eboot for the psvita/psp. In the picture below you can see the option to swap disk (it’s the first option) which mean you can load a different PS1 game without restarting the PS1 exploit all over again. So now you can have 5 different games in one eboot to pick from.

Is it a PSX games that has been converted to EBOOT.PBP format? Its possible to reverse this so you can get the ISO back without having to re-download it again. April 9th, 2008, 20:17 #4. Tutorial: How to convert PS1 games into eboots for the PSVita PS1 Loader Rocco Antonio Cannale October 3, 2014 News, PSP, PSVita, PSVita/PSTV Homebrew, Tutorial & Guides Hi guys darkamon here, ready to bring you a handy tutorial for our beloved Psvita/PSP.

Eboots are.PBP files created to play PS1 games on PSP consoles and later on VITA.

Here is a quick video of it in action.

Select the output for the Eboot. Insert the title of the game here. This is found on the PsOne disk. Or find it on our PSX Game ID list. If you want a nice looking PSX2PSP eboot you can customize the images used. Hello everyone, welcome back to my channel for today's video I will be showing you guys on how to convert.BIN PS1 games to eboot.pbp files & make official l.

After that little introduction we can start.
First we need an image extractor for your ps1 black disk games.
(Me and the staff of Hackinformer do not encourage piracy!)

You can use whatever you want, Alcohol 120% is my favorite because it has the best compatibility with all the images formats, but of course you can use magic iso, daemon tools etc…
Is important to say, that you should ABSOLUTELY extract the ps1 game to a ISO format or bin/cue.
ECM, MDF and IMG doesn’t work for the conversion.

Now you need the PsxtoPsp tool that you can download from here
That’s it we have all the necessary tools to start having fun.

First you have to extract the files and save them to your desktop.

Open the tool, select CLASSIC MODE and OK

For single disk games, click the “…” under the ISO/PBP file 1

As for multiple disk games, click the drop down and select ISO/PBP file 2 for disk two, 3 for disk three, and so on. With this process we can create a SINGLE eboot with the multi disk selection!! Nice No?

Browse for your Psx game backup. I have selected Digimon World 3. All of the information will be filled in with the game ID, if don’t your ISO is corrupted.

Now select an output folder for your finished PSP eboot.

On the right side you can see icon image and background.

I recommend you to use only this two option just for leave the eboot lighter.

For icon i use the front cover of the games renamed “icon0” in png format, for background a screenshot in game named “pic1” always png.

After you have Browsed for and Selected the game, image and optional images/sounds, you may click “Preview”. Here is my preview:

When is all set click “Convert”

You will notice it will say “converting iso, #% done. Average Compression #%.”; at the bottom of the window.

Wait for it to say “Done. Final Compression: #%.” and then exit.

That’s it! Your eboot is ready.

Now you should just put it in the PSP/GAME/yourfoldergamename/EBOOT.PBP

If you use TN-V you can use ftp connection or put the folder in a zip file, select the compression to “storage” and name the folder in INSTALL.ZIP. The put it in the exploit save data and start your exploit to TN-V to extracted the zip file..

Hope everyone likes this tutorial I wrote for you my friends.

PSX2PSP Eboots vs PSN Official Eboots, what's the difference?

eboots are .PBP files created to play PS1 games on PSP consoles and later on VITA.

Some people also prefer them over PSX ISOs because it's just 1 file usually smaller in size, this last use is a really bad idea, i'll elaborate later. For now you need to know:

  • PSX2PSP: Are eboots made by random people, usually with a program called PSX2PSP (there are others: Popstation GUI, IceTea). While most of this files work fine, many have issues (No sound, random crashes, disc change errors), and some don't work at all (black screen on startup).
  • PSN Eboots: These are eboots sold at the official PSN store. They are perfect. No bugs. But usually emulators can't play them due to encryption.

Why should i always prefer PSX ISOs instead of Eboots if i use Emulators?

/asus-pc-link-download-for-android.html. Over the years people have put a lot of effort into dumping every game making sure they are exact copies of the original media. Huge databases were created such as redump, advanscene, renascene, dat-o-matic, etc.

Redump is the group making sure every psx game is correctly dumped, we make an effort to get their verified versions because they have no errors.

When you convert those isos to eboots the iso is no longer a 'good dump', all that precious work done is immediately destroyed. You created a random file with no value whatsoever that just happens to work (if lucky). It may crash at any time, no guarantees. While when using a verified PSX ISO you know for sure, any issue is an emulator issue and not your game.

Eboots exist to be played on PSP or VITA, not for emulators. They just happen to work. They are not meant for emulators.

How to play PSX2PSP eboots on a PSP Console:

Copy the folder containing the EBOOT.PBP to PSPGAME, note that each eboot needs to be 'in a folder', else they'll show up as corrupted data. Risk of rain free download mac.

Example Path: X:PSPGAMESLPS-02985EBOOT.PBP

How to Emulate PSX2PSP eboots:

You shouldn't emulate Eboots since they exist for PSP and VITA console users.
If you want to play PS1 games on an emulator then download PSX ISOs.
That being said, some eboots labeled 'PSX2PSP' can be emulated on PC with ePSXe emulator, and maybe others.

How to play PSN eboots on a PSP Console:

Copy the folder containing the EBOOT.PBP file to PSPGAME without changing the folder name (the game ID).
Example: X:PSPGAMENPJJ00231EBOOT.PBP
PRO-C2CFW has problems with PSN eboots use 'PRO-C Fix-3'.

How to emulate PSN eboots:

You can't. PSN Eboots are meant to be played on PSP/VITA consoles.
You must not download PSN Eboots if you don't have the real hardware.
Download the corresponding PSX ISO version instead.

How to play PS2 ISOs on PCSX2 emulator for PC:

  1. Download and extract the game to a folder using 7-zip (free).
  2. Download and install latest PCSX2 (Use that link. The official site hosts an older version).
  3. Open PCSX2 and do System -> Boot ISO.
  4. Then Select the .iso or .bin file.

NOTE: ALL CD based PS2 ISOs are .bin files and all DVD based ISOs are .iso

How to play Turbografx-16 Classics

These games are different from regular PSP ISOs. They come with a DLC that is mandatory to be copied to the right place in order to make the game run.

On PPSSPP:

Go to your PPSSPP installation folder. Then memstickPSPGAME

Copy the DLC folder included with the download inside the game folder.

On PSP:

Copy the DLC to the game folder like so: ms0:PSPGAMENPJJ30040

Ps1 Games Eboot Pbp

Also you must make sure you have enabled NoDRM. On PRO-CFW you do this by pressing select > Recovery Menu > Advanced. And in there Enable 'NoDRM Engine'.

If you are on a custom firmware that is not PRO consider updating to PRO. If you can't or won't. There is a plugin called 'NPloader' that does the same thing.

How to play PS1 games with ePSXe emulator on PC

  1. Download and extract the game to a folder using 7-zip (free).
  2. Download and install latest ePSXe.
  3. Run ePSXe, Make sure that Options > CPU Overclocking is set to x1 (Important!)
  4. To setup the buttons go to: Config > Gamepads > Port 1 > Pad 1
  5. To start the game go to: File > Run ISO
  6. Then select the .cue file (always the .cue, never the .bin)
  7. When done playing press ESCAPE first to end emulation, then close ePSXe.

Why some games have multiple .bin 'tracks' files and what should i do with them?

Ps1 Games Eboots

TL;DR: Nothing, ignore them.

Long answer: Track number 1 contains the game data, the rest of the tracks are audio tracks or CDDA (Compact Disc Digital Audio). They are songs, the game music. The .cue file (Cue sheet) contains a list of all the tracks, their number and position on the disc. You should always use the .cue file when emulating or burning to a disc. No need to do anything with the extra .bin!

  • Why are there so many: Depends on how many songs the game contains.
  • Why are they separated?: This is Redump's decision to separate the game data from the audio data of PS1/Saturn games.
  • Can i merge them: You totally can. We prefer not to because then it would no longer be a Redump verified game. Which is a guarantee of a 'Good Dump'. But IF you absolutely want to:

How to merge games with Multiple .bin tracks:

  1. You need a virtual Drive software to mount the .cue like Daemon Tools Lite (Free) or similar.
  2. Mount the .cue file
  3. Now you need a software like ImgBurn (Free) or similar.
  4. Open ImgBurn and select create Image from disc. It will create a new single bin/cue set for you.

What format of Dreamcast game should i download? The CDI or GDI?

The Dreamcast didn't use regular CD's like the PS1 or DVD's like the PS2 but it's own format called GD-ROM as a way to stop piracy. Spoiler Alert: It didn't work .
GD-ROM's can hold up to 1 GB of data, this is more than what a regular CD-R can hold which is about 700 MB. So pirates had to get creative. They ripped, compressed/down-sampled the games so they can fit on a regular 700 MB CD-R. Using a program created by Padus called 'DiscJuggler' they saved their rips with the extension .cdi

  • CDI = Are RIPS of the original discs made by people. They have generally lower quality and can have bugs.
  • GDI = Are the original Discs. They are perfect 1:1 copies, no bugs, nothing is ripped.

Ps1 Games Eboot

Yes, all this is amazing but which one do I download? It depends..

Ps1 Games Eboot

  • Download GDI:
-If you will emulate the game using any Emulator for PC, Android, etc.
-If you own a Dreamcast that was moded with GDEMU.
  • Download CDI:
-If you own a Dreamcast that was moded to play CD-R and you will burn the .cdi to a CD.
